Saw Zathura last night. It was pretty good I guess! Entertaining at least.

Playing warcrack like mad lately. I am a level 23 gnome warlock named Marvill. It's... Basically amazing.

The world has continued to be very beautiful
The leaves are golden, the sky is blue, and the weather is warm... it hasn't even snowed yet! Not even on Halloween! This is the first time in lots of years. It's gorgeous. I'm in a t-shirt today and I'm hot. AND hott.

Went to a bangin eventful fun Halloween party at the guys' house last night. It was pretty great. There was boob gropage, blood, smoke and fire, lots of beer, flip cup pwnage and of course vomit... but not by ME! Good times, good times.

I'm at work now... I'm actually starting to feel more useful and competent here. Margaret, my boss, the assistant to the Director of the School of Modern Languages and Cultural Studies, is sick today, so it's just me and Beth, the director, the big boss, in the office. She's had me do a couple things and she just told me how big a help I am. It's nice.

To top all that off I got my first paycheck today. $114.95 for 19 hours of work. Too bad I don't see a penny of it... I still feel proud though EDIT: Just kidding!! I just checked my account, and there's a deposit from UNC Payroll Services for $114!! BRINGIN HOME THE BACON!! Haha HELL YES.

All is well in the world of Parker, children... I am very happy.

I typed up most of the story of my wonderful Monday but I was here at work and I left it and now it's gone. But it was an good, important day, full of love, intrigue, happiness, and excitement, so you get the shortened bulleted version. Without bullets because this computer is ghetto like that.

-Woke up in bed with my lover, there are few things better
-Packed, showered, left the Majnarich estate
-Got to the airport in JUST enough time to pass through security etc, get a bagel, and be one of the last people to board the plane. PERFECT.
-Good plane ride. NO children, NO turbulence, beautiful sunrise and clouds, good nap, good Castlevania, and sat next to a Ukranian Canadian kid about my age who worked at Wal-Mart in Edmonton and had never flown before, it was cute.
-Got to Denver at 9:13 AM, got my luggage, and departed thanks to Sam Gonzales at 9:44.
-Arrived home at 10:32 after a quick and pointless stop at King Soopers for Sam to get groceries.
-Checked to see if my NEW IPOD had been delivered... it HAD but mail hadn't been sorted and I had class.
-Went to classes, talked about Theory of Relativity, French fashion, and German geography.
-Came back home for my break and got my iPod out of the mail! Rushed up and opened it. It was SO beautiful, black, and skinny. I opened all my new toys, plugged them in and set them up, cleaned up my room again and had to go back to class.
-Somehow managed to pay attention in Geography dispite being mentally distracted by iPod and the upcoming concert
-Skipped Econ 101 for the 3rd class in a row to go to Jason Mraz with Elmo and two of her friends
-Arrived on Colfax at the Fillmore after a long car ride filled with Jason Mraz music and Elmo's friend severely overusing and abusing the adjective "intense..." I find few things annoy me more.
-Josh Koch and Sean Montoya finally arrived at the concert from Boulder
-Josh and I went go get food across the street at Good Times and left Sean in line, the line wound up moving while we were waiting for our food and Sean ended up inside
-Josh and I ate our chicken dunkers sitting by the side of the theater
-We were visited by an old black bum who asked us for a dollar, I instead offer him some chicken dunker. He happily takes it. Another old one-armed bum comes seconds after and asks for money, so I offered him some fries. He said "oh hell yes!" and grabbed like the whole bag. While mumbling semi-coherently about how much he loves Good Times and for some reason Dave Matthews Band ("Do you remember that guy, David Matthews?") and telling us he's a veteran of two wars, a slimy slobbery bit of french fry fell out of his mouth and back into the fries. I told him he could have the whole bag. Josh gave him a chicken dunker which he DOUBLE dunked in my barbecue sauce. I shoved the one remaining dunker in my mouth and told the nub-armed man he could eat all the rest. I needed to go inside anyway.
-Jason Mraz concert was AMAZING. He is SO GOOD live. Very, very talented, very funny, very entertaining. Very.
-Me: "Wow... I never noticed that these pockets on my jacket are uneven until now!"
Sean: (pulls up the bottom of my jacket, showing me that the bottom is uneven as well)
Me: "Wow. I never noticed my jacket was buttoned crooked until now."
-Mraz made up a funny song on the spot about a girl whose birthday it was.
-Someone smoking in the theater made it smell nice
-Some girl running by and puking in the middle of the crowd, on another girl, made it smell bad.
-Came home and climbed a tree with Adam Masters who I had missed in Canada.
-Went to BED!

And that, friends, was my day.

Canada and Mike in 4 days!

Oh my god, I love iTunes more all the time.  In the new version you can buy MUSIC VIDEOS.  Today I bought Weapon of Choice, Thriller, and Gold Digger, all three being excellent examples of short musical cinema.  I had Blue Orchid and Lose Control, two of my favorites of all time, already.  This is so exciting... it's much harder to steal videos and have them be of good quality.  I'll be using the Video store a lot... I think I want a new iPod for Christmas--now they're smaller, come in BLACK, and play VIDEO.  EEE!

They took Colleen home last night... she's doing bad.  She's starting to cry out in pain.  My mom just called, she's in St. Louis on her way home from her trip to Kentucky and she's going to stop by Greeley to pick me up, sometime in the middle of the night tonight.  We're going to put her down tomorrow morning probably...

This is kind of a weird date for this to happen...

Poor little girl.  I just wish she weren't in pain.  I wish my family wouldn't be in pain either.

She's had 5 siezures already today so they're not waiting.  They're taking her in right now...

I told her goodbye on the phone... haha.  I hope she could recognize me.
