  • Uhh... did I ever tell you how much I love documentaries?  Seriously I could watch them all day long.  Probably my favorite kind of movie.  Is that nerdy?  I went to go see Murderball last week, and the main guy from it, Mark Zupan, spoke afterwards.  He was really cool.  Got to meet him after that.  It was a great time.  But yeah, it really made me realize how much I really love those films.  Gee whiz.

4/20 was fun... we missed the big time at Farrand Field but we went up and did our thang anyway... It was so pretty up there!  God I love Boulder and spring, and together they're just magickal.  Went to Pearl Street where I was disappointed to not find anything to buy... but that's ok, I have a good shopping list coming along now.  I need a new hard drive, first of all.  I accidentally bought the first season of Lost on iTunes a while ago and it filled up my remaining space with about 6 episodes.  I need to buy the second season also... and WoW updates kill me every time.  It sucks not having hard drive space.  Especially for a geek.  Also I'm gonna buy the new Harvest Moon for my sister's confirmation present... I know she'll love it, and I know I will too, what a perfect present!  No seriously, isn't that the best kind of present?  It just can't get any better for anyone.  Except when I take the gamecube to Atlanta with me.  :D

Other than that... Just waiting for the semester to be over... I really really really miss Mike, and we've been fighting lately over stupid shit but I'm happy as to how it all turned out...  Really like every time stupid shit happens like this I just feel closer to him.  I just can't wait to see him.  It's driving me crazy lately.  I'm so excited for this summer.

  • I guess a lot's happened since the 9th.  But it's spring now so I don't care.  There are pink and white trees and miles of green grass.  There is warm air and cool breezes, and I love rain even if it blows into my room at night and ruins my favorite poster.  I don't know why I am so crazily affected by the weather... but I like it.  Weather talk to me is excellent conversation, because I am genuinely interested in it.  To some people that makes me boring.

We went to Texas this weekend, because my grandpa was in the hospital with pneumonia, and he wasn't looking good at all.  I skipped work on Friday and drove down with my mom and sisters.  To make a long boring story short, we hung out in the hospital a lot, hung out at my grandparent's house a lot, I damn near beat KH2, and my grandpa miraculously beat pneumonia at... I think he's 86.  Wow.  NOBODY saw that coming.  He really IS amazing...

We also went to go see Scary Movie 4, which nobody should ever have done or ever do again.

    Going to Boulder on THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

    Rent the movie was ok.

Aaaaand.... that's about it.  I have to go shave before class.

.....buuuuut I can't.  My roommate beat my by approximately four steps.  And he is the slowest showerer ever.  ::sigh:: I hate having roommates!  And I hate this shower... the water tastes like mold lately.  Matt told me it's because a whole bunch of irrigation water got into our supply.  Wtf?  Is that in any way excusable?  I'm pretty furious about that... but yeah, about the roommates thing.  I just don't think I can handle it anymore, at least not random ones.  My retarded (I donno.  Autistic or something) roommate kept using my shave gel a while ago, so I started to hide it.  He kept using it, so I spread a bunch all over his desk.  Yeah.  I'm just not cut out for the roommate life I guess.  I'm sure they don't like to see me in my boxers all the time either.  And all the time is not really an exaggeration.  So, I am trying to get my own room next semester.  So far, it's been unfruitful.

  • 5 days now and no word from Mr. James C. Nwobu of College Station, TX.  So I did a google search on him and found out he was the associate chair for the African American Student Coalition at A&M... so I sent emails to every one of his co-officers asking them to give me his cell number or tell him to send me the phone... HAHA.  I can't file a complaint with eBay until 15 days.  I WANT A FRUCKING PHONE.  This sucks.  -_-

    KH2 ROCKS.

Howl's Moving Castle is such a cool movie, you should see it.

  • I bought a new Sidekick on eBay 3 days ago and I still haven't heard from the seller. I payed for overnight shipping for a reason.... UGH I'M SO MAD.

My bonsai fell from my window yesterday. It was out on the ledge and it got really windy and my curtains blew out and knocked it off. The pot broke into a thousand pieces and they all went skipping about. And somehow the tree remained almost intact. I donno if it can survive though :( UGH I'M SO MAD.

Mike was supposed to be here today... but I'm not surprised that it didn't work on such short notice. UGH I'M SO SAD.

    At least I'm lvl 50

  • I have to say it is a good day.

    • It’s spring. It rained yesterday, the grass is getting green, and the trees are just barely starting to bud. It’s warmer and nicer and beautifuler. UGH I LOVE SPRING. Springtime is for lovers.
    • I’m pretty much over my sick.
    • Kingdom Hearts II is such a fun game and I’m only 8 hours in.
    • Despite all that I’m still addicted to WoW. Astolpho is level 49!! It’s a little too satisfying and rewarding.
    • Michael just got a good job in Atlanta, and I’m so happy for him. Maybe I’ll have a REAL sugar daddy now. Hehe…
    • I got an A+ on my last German essay without really even trying.
    • My Sobe cap just told me "ICE COLD CRICKETS".
    • No helicopter looking for the murder.
    • 2 in the morning got a fat burger.
    • Today I didn’t even have to use my AK!

I have to say it is a good day.
    (name that song)

  • So far so good...

I finished my homework, now here's a boring blog.

At the 2006 GDC, Nintendo's president pointed out that games today cost fifty or sixty dollars at launch, and if found in a bookstore, all a reader would find is hardback books -- there would be no lower-cost paperbacks or magazines.

That's a pretty interesting comparison... And they have plans to remedy this situation in the next console generation. Should be cool.

::yawn:: what a week... I'm going home tonight. My PS2 is there and Kingdom Hearts 2 was released this week... omfgroflwow it's awesome.

  • Parker's Retarded and Way-Too-Late Epiphany of the Day

If I would only use my boring and absurdly abundant down-time at work to do homework instead of surfing the web, I would save so much time at home, and maybe actually get my homework done! I have no motivation but I must force myself to do it during this production time... and get paid for it... instead of writing boring blogs.

  • The shit is bananas.

What a freaking great weekend. On Saturday night I got called and was invited at the last minute to Brianne's birthday party, which I was a little aprehensive to attend, but wound up being really fun. I took my lil buddy Adam along, and I talked to Stephanie and Elmo, and we just had a grand old drunken time. It was a Mardi Gras themed party and there was much stripping for the birthday girl. Kinda hott actually... We stayed only the perfect ammount of time, which turned out to be not very long at all, maybe a little more than an hour. Then back to the dorms to hang with the same peeps from Friday night. Jazz was also there... I was REALLY in the mood to dance so I dragged everyone upstairs to my window room and put on some bumpin music... and it worked! I sparked a dance party. I was SO happy, because it has been on my mind a lot lately that no one EVER dances at ANY parties here. It sucks. I was so happy to dance. Afterwards we went to McDonalds and had a funny encounter with like-minded people on the way, then SORT OF watched Tron, nobody was really interested. Awesome night though.

Last night, Jazz, Adam and I ran some good errands and then went and hung at the guy's house, and played some SMASH BROS and Mario Strikers, which for some reason I was absolutely horrible at. Nice calm end to the weekend.

And now I'm at work again, getting paid $7.05 per hour to write you weekend updates. You're welcome.

It's funny how much weather affects my mood. Today is a beautiful day. And thunderstorms are forecast for wednesday! I'm so happy. Spring is here! Now the trees just have to bloom.

So I'm probably going to live in Florida this summer... hot.

  • "When you laugh, the world laughs with you. When you cry, you cry alone." - Old Boy

Yesterday morning was a bit traumatic.  I thought my relationship was finished for half an hour.  But I wound up learning for myself a lesson in unconditional love.  I told him I'd leave him if that ever happened.  I suppose I would make myself keep that promise, but I would die because I still love him.  Does that make me weak?  Or is it a virtue to have that kind of unconditional love?

In any case, I am thrilled as always to be blessed with such an amazing relationship.  I'm glad both of us recognize the beautiful thing we have and wouldn't do anything at all to ruin it.

Last night was terribly fun.  I'm now level 45½ and found an amazing new polearm and have lots of gold, I went to see V for Vendetta again with Jessie, Brit, Phil the Irishman (:D) and Adam and I definitely liked it a lot this time, and then we came back and partied and such and hung out and wound up finally watching Old Boy, this strange but awesome Korean action movie.  Then passed out.

  • It snowed, I got sick, and I finished my paper. And I re-realized that no matter how far away he is, he is extremely lovable always and he always loves me. Physical contact is a side note when we can talk several times a day. Still, it doesn't help the fact that I'm hating it here.

I so hate to love Apple. Seems like twice a year, the new iPod model becomes outdated, and my shiny, new, slightly-scratched-up iPod is about to be such. And the new ones, rumor has it, are going to be AWESOME. A big beautiful touch screen (supposedly, supposedly) is going to fill up the whole face of the iPod now. A digital virtual click wheel will appear when you put your finger to it and disappear when you take it away. There have been so many fakes and mock-ups, but here is MAYBE the supposed first leaked photo of the product... looks delicious. We'll find out JUST how real it is when the thing is actually supposed to be announced in the next couple weeks!

However, I'm pretty sure I'm good with my current video capabilities. Sure the screen is WAY smaller on mine than this one would be but there's still one feature I'm holding out for, other than improved sound quality - wireless. As soon as Apple gets smart and makes the iPod bluetooth compatible, I'm definitely upgrading again. How hott would that be! Just set your iPod next to your computer and it updates it. Carry it in your pocket to your fancy BMW and play it over the sound system without touching it. :o I don't think it's too far off. Honestly I don't know what they're holding out for, but it's probably either price or size.
