• I just listened to Midnight Train To Georgia, probably my favorite soul song of all time, IN GEORGIA.  It made me happy.  But yeah, I’m in Atlanta now.  And I would really like to ACTUALLY take a midnight train to Georgia one day.  It’s on my lifetime goals list right after walk across the U.S.  Maybe I’ll add walk across Europe.

  
  

  I’ve applied to work at Borders, which is ultra-conveniently located right across the street from the apartment complex (Which, by the way, is sooo pretty.  There’s the most beautiful pool and little common area… I really like it here).  Even if it wasn’t the closest business, It’d still probably be my top choice.  Employee discount would be amazing at Borders.  They’re “always hiring”, and the application was online though… I donno, it doesn’t sound promising.  Today I’ll probably go apply to everywhere else.  I need to get a job soon or Mike will get mad.  Hehe.

  
  

  I’m also starting to work on getting a tan… and finish reading the Da Vinci Code finally.  I just read the climax of the book last night and it was pretty damn good.  And the final codex was entirely too simple, and I felt so stupid for not figuring it out.  Stupid Da Vinci Code.

  
  

  I just checked my grades… And I have to say I’m happy with the turnout… I got all B’s and a C, which is a VAST improvement over last semester…  Oh I did accidentally fail my German Lab, but I can do grade forgiveness and retry next semester really easily so I’m not too upset about that..  oops.
